WEBselex® for Sales

WEBselex for Sales is an applicant screening assessment designed for sales and customer service jobs. The assessment consists of 80 multiple-choice biographical questions and takes only 30 minutes to complete. The assessment produces one predictor score for each of the three performance factors shown below, and one predictor score for overall performance, created through a combination of the three predictors.
Performance Factors
  1. Sales Productivity
    Obtains higher objective sales results, has better selling skills, positive sales attitude, enthusiasm, energy, optimism, and persistence and better skill sharing product knowledge.

  2. Customer Service
    Obtains higher objective customer satisfaction results, better focus on satisfying customer needs, explains product features to customers, and has a positive attitude toward co-workers and supervisors.

  3. Retention
    More likely to survive in a sales career, to remain employed where hired, to comply with company rules and procedures, and to be stable and dependable in relationships with others.
Each of the three predictors has been empirically developed and validated against specific, relevant criterion measures. Similarly, the overall performance predictor has been validated against measures of overall job performance for sales personnel.

Cross-validity studies have shown:
  • 20% to 40% improvement in sales results
  • 25% to 50% reduction in turnover
  • Up to 70% reduction in interviewing costs
  • Up to 250% improved passing rates for minorities
